Terms of Sale
aiLearning Challenge registration · Version 2026-10-15 · Effective 15 October 2026
These terms govern the registration of schools in an edition of the aiLearning Challenge and the payment of its registration contribution. They form one agreement with our Refund Policy; our Terms of Use govern the use of the website itself, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Programs, consulting and other services we agree with an institution by proposal are governed by that proposal, not by these terms.
In short: private schools register with a contribution; public schools register free of charge, and a school that cannot cover the contribution may request a waiver. You pay either by bank transfer or check, invoiced by our Dominican company with a tax receipt (NCF), or by card through Stripe, invoiced by our US company. Your registration is confirmed when we confirm it to you in writing after receiving your payment. If you cancel before your educators begin their preparation, or if we cancel the edition, you get your contribution back.
1. Who sells to you
There are two CEMI companies. Which one registers you and invoices you depends on how you pay:
| You pay | Seller |
|---|---|
| By bank transfer or check, with a Dominican invoice | COLLECTIVELY ENHANCED MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE CEMI AI SRL, trade name CEMI.ai, RNC 133-76027-4, Calle Rafael F. Bonnelly No. 17, Evaristo Morales, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic |
| By card, online, through Stripe | CEMI Collectively Enhanced Multiple Intelligence, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation (Delaware file no. 10647705, EIN 32-0859414), 7801 NW 37th St, DO80Q56188N, Doral, FL 33195, United States |
In these terms, «aiLearning», «we» and «us» mean the seller of your registration, and «you» or «the school» means the school or institution that registers. Billing and registration: business@ailearning.global, WhatsApp +1 (849) 265-2665. Legal notices: legal@ailearning.global. Personal data: privacy@ailearning.global.
2. Who can register
Registration is for schools and educational institutions, which register their teams of participants and the educators who accompany them. The person who registers confirms that they are authorised to act for the school. Registration is not offered to private individuals; if the law of your country nevertheless treats you as a consumer, its consumer-protection rules apply in addition to these terms and nothing here reduces the rights they give you (see also the Refund Policy).
3. What you buy
The registration contribution registers one school in one edition of the aiLearning Challenge. A registered school receives what the edition’s page for schools describes as of the date you register: the preparation for its educator mentors, the practice sessions of the Challenge Gym, the school kit, and the accompaniment during and after the edition. The school, for its part, commits what that page describes (educator preparation, supervision of participants, time, space and connectivity).
- The registration page, the pro-forma or the confirmation we send you records what you registered: the school, the edition and the contribution.
- The edition’s date, venue, categories and other details are those we publish for it. Where they are still being confirmed, the page says so, and we tell registered schools when they are set.
- Registration does not guarantee a result, a place in a later stage of the Challenge or an award. Teams advance according to the edition’s published rules.
4. The contribution, waivers and taxes
- Private schools register with the contribution published on the registration page or stated in the pro-forma we send you; for the first edition it is US$100 per school. The amount in force when you register is the one that applies to your registration.
- Public schools register free of charge.
- Waivers. A school that cannot cover the contribution may request a waiver by writing to business@ailearning.global. A waiver applies once we confirm it in writing.
- Taxes.
- Card payments are invoiced by the US company in US dollars, without Dominican ITBIS.
- Payments by transfer or check are invoiced by the Dominican company with a tax receipt (with its NCF, or as an electronic invoice e-CF where DGII rules require it), in Dominican pesos at the DGII exchange rate of the invoice date, with ITBIS added where the law requires it. The pro-forma shows the exact amount before you pay. To issue a receipt with crédito fiscal we need the school’s RNC and legal name.
5. How to pay
By bank transfer or check (Dominican company).
- You ask to register on the registration page or by writing to business@ailearning.global, giving the school’s legal name and RNC.
- We send you a pro-forma with the amount, the currency and the payment details. Our bank details are given only on the pro-forma and the invoice; we never ask for a payment to an account named anywhere else. Checks are made out to COLLECTIVELY ENHANCED MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE CEMI AI SRL.
- When the payment reaches our account (for a check, when it has cleared), we issue the invoice with its NCF and confirm the registration.
By card, online, through Stripe (US company), where the registration page offers it.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers; we do not see or store your card number.
- You receive a receipt and an invoice from the US company.
If a payment fails or is reversed, the registration is not confirmed, or is suspended, until it is settled.
6. When your registration is confirmed
A registration is confirmed when we confirm it to you in writing (by e-mail) after receiving your payment or, for public schools and waivers, after accepting your registration. Until then, it is a request. We may decline a registration, for example if the edition is full or the school cannot meet the commitments described on the schools page; if we decline a registration you have already paid, you get the whole contribution back.
When you register, you accept these terms and the Refund Policy in the version in force that day; we keep a record of the version you accepted and when.
7. Participants, families and consent
- The school is responsible for the participation of its students: their selection, their supervision as the schools page requires, and the consent of each participant’s legal representative (the parent or the adult who legally represents the student) using the program’s instruments, as our Privacy Policy describes in its section on minors.
- The school shares with us only the data about its participants that the edition needs, and we use it only to run the edition, as the Privacy Policy describes.
- The school and its participants follow the edition’s published rules, including those on the use of artificial intelligence and on the work of mentors.
8. Cancellation and refunds
How and when you can cancel, what happens if we cancel or postpone the edition, and how refunds are paid is set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: a full refund if you cancel before your educators begin their preparation, and a full refund if we cancel the edition, or postpone it and the new date does not suit you.
9. Card disputes
If you have a problem with a card charge, please write to us first: we can usually solve it faster than a dispute. If a chargeback is opened, we answer it to the card issuer with the record of the registration, and the registration is suspended while it is open. A chargeback opened for a payment we have already refunded, or have agreed to refund, is closed once the refund is shown.
10. Rights in what is made
What participants create during the Challenge belongs to them: neither we nor any host or sponsor of the edition claims rights over it, and publishing it is encouraged, never required. Registration gives the school no rights in the Challenge’s materials beyond their use for the edition, under our Terms of Use.
11. Liability
- We run the edition with professional care.
- Our total liability for a registration is limited to the contribution you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct or anything the law does not allow to be limited.
- If the law of your country treats you as a consumer, these limits apply only to the extent it allows.
12. Governing law, claims and disputes
- Claims: write to business@ailearning.global with the name of the school and the edition. We acknowledge every claim within 2 business days and answer it within 10 business days. We always try to resolve a problem with you directly first.
- Payments by transfer or check (Dominican company): governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, and disputes go to the courts of Santo Domingo.
- Card payments (US company): governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
- Anyone the law treats as a consumer keeps the protection of the law of their country of residence and may bring a claim in the courts of their domicile. Consumers in the Dominican Republic may also go to Pro Consumidor (Instituto Nacional de Protección de los Derechos del Consumidor, proconsumidor.gob.do).
13. Language
These terms are published in English, Spanish and French. For registrations invoiced by the Dominican company, and for schools and users in the Dominican Republic, the Spanish version prevails; in every other case, the English version prevails.
14. Changes
We may update these terms for future registrations. The version you accepted when you registered applies to that registration; we never change it for a registration already made without your agreement.
