Your prompt, live

Create a browser exploration game, on a single top-down screen, inspired by the cheerful weirdness of Adventure Time but with an original world and characters. The player moves with the arrow keys through an island made of traditional local sweets where the sea is passion fruit juice. There are five objects that talk when you get close, and each one asks for something absurd; among them, an old fan that wants someone to tell it a joke because it has been spinning for years. To win you have to fulfill all five requests, and each request is fulfilled by bringing something another object gave you. The dialogue is short, strange and kind. Use pastel colors and rounded shapes.

3 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.

Where it is made: A tool that generates code for browser games, the one your Learning Facilitator set up for the Unit.

How to personalise it
  1. Write the five requests yourself before pasting: they are the heart of the game.
  2. Ask for each object to talk in a different way (one rhymes, one only asks questions, one exaggerates).
  3. If the world looks generic, add three concrete details about food, weather or music.
Did it work?
  • C1: it is clear how to win without anyone explaining it.
  • C2: at least three objects have a recognizable personality.

And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
