Example: a sticker set with personality
Worked example: a sticker set for the group chat that went from generic smiley faces to a mascot with real character.
Fill in the spaces and watch it change
Generate a set of 6 stickers of an original mascot: a green plantain in a backwards cap, a bit dramatic, inspired by the cheerful weirdness of Adventure Time. Each sticker shows a different reaction: “on my way” (running), “power’s out” (in the dark with a flashlight), “hahaha” (rolling on the floor), “what?” (confused), “good night” (in a hammock) and “we won!” (jumping). Cartoon style with a thick white outline, transparent or flat background, no text. The mascot must look the same in every sticker.
3 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.
Where it is made: An image generator, the one your Learning Facilitator set up for the Unit.
- Attempt 1 of the example: “Funny stickers for the chat.” Out came yellow faces like the ones on any keyboard.
- What changed in attempt 2: the group invented a mascot with personality and wrote down the reactions they really use in their chat. The question went from “what’s funny?” to “what do we always say?”.
- Your turn: list the six phrases that come up most in your chat (no screenshots) and create the mascot for them.
- C1: the mascot is recognizable in all six stickers.
- C2: each reaction is clear without any text.
And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
