Trailer: the neighborhood heroes
A 30-second trailer for a team of original heroes whose powers are everyday skills.
Fill in the spaces and watch it change
Create a 30-second superhero movie trailer, in five 6-second shots, with the epic feel of the Avengers movies but with an original team. The heroes are made-up people from a neighborhood, and their powers are everyday skills pushed to the extreme: a neighbor who fixes anything with a bit of wire, a motorbike-taxi driver who gets anywhere in ten seconds, and an old man who predicts rain from the ache in his knee. The threat is a blackout that will last forever unless they reach the power plant before nightfall. Shot 1: the quiet neighborhood at dawn. Shots 2 to 4: each hero shows their power in a close shot. Shot 5: the whole team together, seen from behind, facing the threat. On-screen text only at the end: the title, THE CORNER CREW. No faces of real people.
4 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.
Where it is made: A text-to-video generator, the one your Learning Facilitator set up for the Unit.
- The powers work when anyone from your neighborhood recognizes someone like that (without it being anyone in particular).
- If a shot comes out strange, ask for just that shot again with one more detail: the camera, the light or the gesture.
- Edit the five shots together and add music from a music generator, if you like.
- C1: in 30 seconds you understand who they are and what is at stake.
- C2: the powers are from here, not from any old movie.
- C3: the title appears only once and is easy to read.
And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
