Your prompt, live

A study game without AI, for two people, on quadratic equations. 1. Each of you writes 10 questions about the material on cards. 2. Take turns asking. If you get it wrong, the other gives you a hint; if you get it wrong again, they explain it, and that card comes back in the next round. 3. Each round, harder questions: first remembering, then explaining in your own words, then applying to a new case. 4. Power-up: three right answers in a row and you choose the next question. 5. At the end, each of you writes down what to review. The friction is the same; what changes is who asks the questions.

2 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.

How to personalise it
  1. Play with a friend or someone at home.
  2. Write questions that make you explain, not just remember.
  3. Keep the cards you missed: they are tomorrow’s review.
Did it work?
  • C1: the cards you missed came back, and you answered them.
  • C2: at the end, each of you has a list of what to review.

And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
