Volleyball rotation, finally clear
An animation that explains how the six volleyball positions rotate, for anyone who always gets lost.
Fill in the spaces and watch it change
Create an animation made with code, about 40 seconds long, that explains rotation in volleyball. Show half a court from above with six circles numbered 1 to 6 in their positions. Explain it in three steps, with one on-screen sentence each: when you rotate, which way you rotate and why the server is always the player in position 1. Then show three rotations in a row, slowly. Colors: orange court, players in blue and a yellow ball. Audience: the new players on the school team.
3 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.
Where it is made: An assistant that generates animations with code (moving shapes, arrows and text), the one your Learning Facilitator set up for the Unit.
- Check the rotation rule in the federation's official rulebook and fix the animation if it gets it wrong.
- Ask for a “next rotation” button so the team can practice on their phones.
- If the sentence for any step is longer than 12 words, ask for it to be shortened.
- C1: someone new knows where to move after watching it once.
- C2: the rule it shows is correct according to the rulebook.
And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
