The creature that grows out of nerves
A comic where worries turn into creatures, and you beat them by naming them, not by fighting.
Fill in the spaces and watch it change
Write the script and generate the images for a five-panel comic inspired by the idea behind Jujutsu Kaisen: negative emotions take the shape of creatures. Here nothing is bloody or terrifying. The creature is born from the nerves of the night before a test and looks like this: a cloud of crumpled notebook pages with alarm-clock eyes. The main character is original and beats it this way: by saying out loud the worst thing that could happen, and seeing it isn’t that bad. The last panel shows the creature shrunk down, almost cute. Style: black-and-white manga with screentones.
4 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.
Where it is made: An image generator, the one your Learning Facilitator set up for the Unit.
- Choose a worry that many people your age share, not a specific one of yours if you don’t want to share it.
- How the creature is beaten is the heart of the story: write it yourself.
- Ask for a color version and decide which one carries the emotion better.
- C1: you can tell which worry the creature comes from without it being said.
- C2: it is beaten by understanding, not by destroying.
And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
