Example: the tournament logo
Worked example: a logo that came out full of details impossible to embroider, and how the “works when small” criterion fixed it.
Fill in the spaces and watch it change
Generate a flat logo, with at most two colors, for a neighborhood soccer tournament played in December. It must look good at the size of a coin and embroidered on a cap. Symbol: a ball that is also a sun, with a single Christmas star. Simple shapes, no gradients, no text, white background.
3 fields are missing: they will be copied with the examples. The examples are fine to start with, but your own details are what make the piece yours.
Where it is made: An image generator, the one your Learning Facilitator set up for the Unit.
- Attempt 1 of the example: “Make an epic logo for a soccer tournament”. What came out was a crest with fire, wings, shadows and ten colors: gorgeous when big, a smudge when small.
- What changed in attempt 2: the criterion “reads at the size of a coin” was added and the colors were limited. The criterion did the work.
- Now you: print your logo at the size of a coin before deciding.
- C1: you can recognize it at the size of a coin.
- C2: it could be embroidered.
And at the end: did the prompt get better, or did the question?
